Edinburgh Tutoring

If you are looking for tutoring in Edinburgh, I can help with English, music and maths, up to GCSE level. In my twenties I worked as a teacher in a wide variety of settings, from prisons to schools to physical rehabilitation settings, and that range of experience means I am comfortable working with almost anyone, whatever their starting point. Some students need help catching up before an exam, others just want a steadier hand with a subject they find difficult, and I am happy to work with either, built around a specific exam board or just around building general confidence. I am just as happy with a single one off session as with something more regular, whichever actually suits what you need.

I do not hold a formal teaching qualification, and I think it is only fair to say so plainly, but years spent actually teaching in the room count for a lot. If you are based in Edinburgh and looking for a tutor in English, music or maths, get in touch and we can talk through what you need.
